Perpetual Futures or Perps
Section titled Perpetual Futures or PerpsPerps are futures expiring at a pre-determined period. This financial product, even if it could be available in traditional finance is mostly used in Crypto Exchange. It follows the price of the underlying asset, without exactly replicating it. Indeed, depending on the contract specifications and markets participants strategies. The perps would be subject to premium or discount against the underlying price.
